Now tell me: Should I follow some self-appointed people who claim to know and speak for God and his ‘commandments’? Should I follow because ‘they’ said so? Or should I follow the deeply defined and felt truth which my own conscience dictates even if it may be contrary to how others see things? Sometimes I feel that the God some people believe in thinks so lowly or is downright fearful of the human conscience and will, even if these came from God.
