Artists have the gift to turn pain into beauty. One of the things that diminishes this gift is addiction. It makes you surrender your own divine power to substances and makes you believe it comes from them. It is a denial of divine greatness. SAD.. Tragic..RIP Amy Winehouse.. — Jim Paredes—
